Blackbird 1.7 or ENO Double deluxe?

Hey I'm looking for a new hammock and i have narrowed it down to the warbonnet black bird 1.7 and the Eno double nest deluxe and I was wondering if anyone has tried both?
It's been hard to find reviews on the double deluxe cause of how new it is. I know the deluxe is extremely wide but i am not sure if it will just cave around me and the extra width be useless.
Let me know what you think

Hello there. Two different animals here. The Blackbird has an intergrated bugnet and is geared more towards backpacking and camping and has features such as a shelf for storing small items and a footbox for a comfortable, flat lay. The ENO is more of a lounging hammock and to use it for more than that you would have to get a separate bugnet. If you need a hammock to go backpacking get the Blackbird and if you want to lounge, maybe take it on a dayhike or cozy up with someone special, then get the ENO. There are other differences but these are the basic ones. Just my opinions.

I've laid in an ENO Double nest (not the deluxe) and I have a black bird. My personal preference is the black bird. It is easier to get a good hang due to the ridgeline. In the ENO Double Nest there was no ridgeline so it's more of a guess to get a good sag. I can do it but it's only because I've been hanging for almost 3 years. But for a noob it may be more of a learning curve.

Also, stay away from those slap straps. They stretch overnight and you'll be butt hugging the ground.

Why not go with a regular ENO double instead of the deluxe? The deluxe is seriously WIDE. Not sure why you'd need that much width? I have a Trek Light double which is very similar to the ENO double. It's a very comfy hammock, but even with a nice diagonal lie, you still have a little bit of excess fabric on the sides. I can only imagine the excess fabric on the deluxe. Seems like overkill to me.
One positive to getting a WarBonnet hammock..... it comes with great suspension and a ridgeline.
I love both my Trek Light & my Traveler. I'm not a hiker, so ounces don't make as much difference to me.

The ENOs are cheap enough that you could get both. If you, for any reason, don't like the WBBB, it's easy to sell here, although I can't fathom anyone not liking the Warbonnet.

Started in the ENO Double, moved onto a Hennesey and then a WBBB. I have since sold the Hennesey and the WBBB and I am now back in the ENO.
