Well.. I guess this is more for future reference when I have some more money to play around with but for right now my tarp should be sufficient enough. Plus I don't have anything that cost me too much money, bag is synthetic, and nothing is down so I will be fine for right now... what the future holds is probably a blackbird and a down uq, but for right now i'm fine with my cheap, but still nice gear.

You will have lots of very good company. My addiction started with a $20 Travel hammock and a $5 (at the time) walmart blue pad. Don't worry, you've already found a great support group.
