Inserting a window into a tarp would present some real challenges. The different materials would stretch differently. The seams would need to be very carefully planned to be as watertight as possible, although depending on the window placement leaks might not be a hazard to good coverage. To my knowledge... there are no commercial tarps which include windows. My own personal solution is to hang the tarp high and wide when the weather is good so I can see out from under the tarp sides. Trekking poles work well to support the corners of my tarp like a porch awning. In bad weather I will hang low and tight for added coverage and protection. I lose the view... but stay dry and comfortable.

attached are some photos of my BWDD Winter Dream. The first one shows it with the "doors" closed due to high winds and rain. The other shows it pitched witht he doors folded in and hiking poles used to give me a view from the "front porch". That is a Clark NX-200 hanging out under there in both photos. I hope these help.
Just curious what the reasons for wanting a window are? Is it so you can always have a view or to allow more light in? Even with my BWWD being black it still lets plenty of light in during the daytime and early evening. Im a big fan of the porch style pitching in nice weather. Its great to wake up in a hammock and look out of your front porch. The material I envision that would have to be used for a window would be a much thicker heavier clear plastic material which could strees the sil to much when pitched. But a window on a tarp would be pretty cool if it could be a possiblity imho.

Actually though my main reason for a window was for being able to see out without having to get out of the hammock no matter what the weather.
I'm going to the Napali coast on Kauai in a few weeks and I'm looking forward to being able to see the stars at night but being that it is the tropics rain comes and goes quite quickly. I'd love to be able to fall asleep looking up at the stars through a window in the tarp instead of going no tarp and risking waking up soaking a sudden downpour.
As I was thinking more about the window, it could be nice for windy instances where you had a very steep roof angle and closed off ends but where you still wanted to see out to the sides while waiting out a storm.
Thanks for the photos. My reason for also asking about the largest tarps available was because I plan to hang it high and wide so I can see out around me while still offering a large "footprint" for rain protection in the breezy tropics. I'm young and a few extra ounces for a large tarp won't bother me.
