Based off of some comparables that I found using the same insulation my initial estimates are upper 40's, but I have 2 being used this week at or very near that range so I will have some verification by the first of the week or so.

Couple things to add this week. #1 being the addition of a DIY kit for the KAQ line. It includes all of the materials and parts for you to make your own synthetic quilt.




I also have a number of new accessory items in fuel bottles for alcohol gear. Including funnels and 1 oz measuring cups.



As well I have lots of little parts and pieces in stock now to add to the DIY section of the store. Including micro cord locks.

All right! I was thinking of doing a DIY 1S KAQ. having the kit ready makes it so much easier!

And saves shipping from multiple places, but if it was all coming from one spot like mine is, you should still save at least $20 on the materials.

my 1s lr is sick... its tiny, light and goes up quick really adjustable... god i love black gear. thanks again paul..

I see that the already made quilts on the website weigh around 1.5lbs can the same be said for the diy kit?
