    Amsteel in Sweden

    Hello!

Where can I get Amsteel or Dyneema or equivalent in the EU, or in Sweden?
My goal is to make whoopie slings, so any info on cord for doing that would make me happy!

    Thanks
    Johannes

Amsteel can´t be bought in EU but if you google for Dyneema SK75 you will get something equivalent to Amsteel but unfortunately at a higher price.

    http://www.nauticalrope.co.uk/Dinghy...5_Dyneema_Rope
    at £2,23/meter

This one is from your hometown (Västra Frölunda):

I can´t see any prices on that one but you can probably check with them.

BUT if you order Amsteel from AHE it will become much cheaper.
I bought 8x25 feet in december and it costed me something like 8SEK/meter.
I don´t think you will find something equivalent at that price in EU.
BUT if you do so, please let me know.

If you would like their is an amsteel group buy going on right now if you would like to purchase in the group by and have the amsteel shipped to my apartment as long as u supply shipping cost I'm cool with that just an option shoot me a pm. I have no clue if this would be cheaper then ordering from the site directly
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I use Marlow Excel D12 which is readily available throughout the EU. It's still quite expensive but less so if you can find it on mini-reels - about £0.80/metre

    GOD ****

I think this sort of information is classified,...
At least until he commits to SKAHOw !!!

It took me years to find this site, then it tooked years for Amsteel to get invented.
Then it tooked years for guys here to come up with Whoppies.

Should he really have all that for free ?

    Of course he shall !
    Welcome frizbee !

Ps, i was just in a bad mood in the beginning b/c peter made me do a long trip report

Lazy River Road thanks but I'll order directly when I know enough to make that order! Thanks anyways!

moski I understand that I get alot for free and since I got interested in getting a hammock I have only had contact with helpful people and I intend to share any ideas I might come up with in the future!

My first hammock will hopefully arrive next week!

    Thanks guys!

It´s my fault if moski is a little grinny sometimes.
I like to put him to work when the rest of us just lay back and enjoy the situation.
You also have to understand that he is from Stockholm (you know about those people, don´t ya?)
Well you probably know about that since you live on the frontside of Sweden and he´s living on the backside.
    (I´m such a FUNNY guy.....)

    Back to real life:
Keep asking questions about stuff you want to know. I´m sure you will get plenty of answers at this very friendly and mindsharing forum. I´ve learnt a lot from this forum BUT I also learnt a lot at the SKAHO when I met other hangers. Group hangs like that is also fun and educating to attend.
