Measure out exactly 1.00 oz. place it into a bucket let it loft then measure the volume. Voila that's
    you're fill power.

This might get you a rough idea, but your number will likely be higher than the true fill power. There is a formal specification for testing that involves placing the down in a cylinder and putting a small weight on top which provides a little compression. Fill power is not simply a measure of how much volume is occupied by 1oz oz of down.

It sounds like this could be something for a group buy if someone could locate a good source at a good price for a large order. Splitting it to send to forum members might be a bit of a task though... I've been interested in getting some for a while now myself.
I can't buy something without first considering whether I could just make it myself instead. How'd I get so screwed up?

Sorry for the long delay in re posting to this site. Like I said earlier, I have A LOT! All down, no feathers...pounds n pounds. Finally in the process of sending off a sample for testing to the site above. Hoping to send it off this week sometime. After I receive the info on the quality of what I actually have I'll be looking to sell it.

This is not a post where I'm lookin to sell(don't want the mods unhappy with me), more of an update on where im at in this process. Totally new to this stuff. Any and all advice or info would be greatly appreciated from the forum members.

Hope to have more details soon.

I would want to know a lot more background on this story before forking over money to an individual with two posts on the forum haha, but I'm interested to see where this goes. I'm also getting a good kick out of the panicked frenzy that the forum goes into at the mention of a bulk down buy
