Kelty comes with all the accessories to put it up. Does save some $$$. That is always nice. I got mine off Amazon.

"No whining in the woods"
They tried to release a new product under the guise of being thought of by an "active Hammock Forums member". This "member" joined less than two weeks ago. Their marketing write-up really tried to make hay that it came from a HF member, when it did not. It was just an extremely shady move and one that won't be forgotten by the mods here.

Trust nobody!
Thank you both for the quick responses.
How about the sil/bedsheet? http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ad.php?t=46704
Doesn't come in under the gift card requirement but it is a fiscally responsible option. A couple bucks for the bedsheet, another couple for the silicone and a fin for the mineral spirits. Under $10 and a little time would leave your gift cards intact for necessities like ccf/thermarests, cooksets, stoves, quilts, packs, boots, knives, axes, sharpening stones, fire steels, hiking poles, goretex pants (boots, jackets etc.), snowshoes, wool sweaters, camp pillows, electric socks and stuff.
Or maybe even this..... http://www.cabelas.ca/index.cfm?page...=1852&ID=25377
Seriously, though, I looked at that and it seems effective, but like it might weigh way more than even the options I was considering. Anyone try it that has a weight?
I'd go with the Kelty 9x9, it's a great tarp. Just need 13' between trees minimum and you're set.
Sunnysports has the Noah 9 on sale now for $44.95
