I'm hoping someone will be able to make the island to sit with the gear by 3:30 or 4. IF any of you can be there around that time, please let me know. I have to go home and get Houdini and drive to my daughter's near the Fair Grounds, and then drive back and paddle back. If you all need to eat before I get back just save me some of everything!
I am estimating my eta to the ramp around 3 oclock, but I am hitching a ride to the island...not sure what time that will be

Spam, do you know how to Kayak? Only say yes if you are comfortable kayaking. I'll send you a pm with my number if you want to do that. I could paddle over, let you take my kayak back, and then Hangnout could motor me over. Would that work for everyone?
I have never had the chance to try kayaking yet, so turning me loose with one might not be wise although its an awesome offer. Hopefully I can get a chance to try it soon

I may just have to leave and trust that all will still be there. My Guacamole is awesome and I worry more about losing all the food!! lol I would really be upset if someone took my gear. It happened once to someone, but I don't think it's a regular occurrence. I left gear on the island and it was still there when I got back..
This will probably be my last post for today. Spam, call me when you get to the dock, I pm'd you my cell #. I had 5 hours sleep last night so I may fall asleep right after my last trip!! Just save me some of my Salsa and Guacamole! Pretty excited to be there and relax!
