    The wife went shopping today so I set up my stands in the living room in front of the TV. By the way that's my new Baby Orca underneath. Took a nap for a couple hours.

    While I am at work tomorrow, I plan on picking up all the materials I need to make one of these!! I have trees, but I like the idea of being able to move my hammock around. Besides, I have room enough on the deck to put it on there. I have some leftover stain from re-staining the deck this summer too!

    Do you think I will need rubber feet if I put it on the deck ??

    Man I love this place! All these fun projects to keep me busy.

    Well, the rubber feet do at least two things. They help inhibit the feet from spreading and they protect the surface.

    So it really depends on whether you use a spread limiter cord and whether you want to protect your deck.

    Pretty much up to you and your deck!

    I recommend spread limiter cords whenever the setup is on a hard surface and a deck qualifies for that.
