So much info, so little space in my head

In the last 24 hours I have run the gamut from keeping my ENO DN and adding some accessories, to getting a WBBB, to getting a Clark NA, back to the Warbonnet, back to the Clark, back to the Warbonnet and now finally keeping the ENO.

I think ultimately I am going to end with the WB or Clark, but for now I am going to add a tarp, bug net and SRL/suspension to my ENO. I have one trip planned this fall so those improvements will get me through. Over the winter i can make a final decision on a full upgrade and hand the ENO system down to my wife.

Now I just need to decide on a tarp, bug net and SRL/suspension that will perform well but not break the bank.

This is a great site for information but not very good for decisions

Sure it is, the decisions are easy to make....it is paying for them that is difficult!

you might try to get to a group 'hang' near you, a chance to see many setups and different models of gear before you finalize your choice(s)

You're only about an hour and a half from the Fall MAHHA hang. If you can bear to wait that long, should give you ample opportunity to check out plenty of options in person.

Welcome to the madness. It helps to slow down and take deep breathes

    welcome to the madness...

Go with a BB. If you decide that you do not like it, a BB usally sells in under day on the foum and almost full price. No other hammock out there can make that claim these days.

Attending a hammock hang is a great way to see other set ups and talk to fellow hangers about what works for them and why. Remember, there is not one perfect setup/system for everyone. What my wife likes for her hammock setup is different from my setup.

Just to prepare you for what is most likely going to happen--I've only been a member of this forum for a year, but I have seen this scenario played out so many times that it no longer surprises me when it happens. My prediction:

    * you will buy WBBB
    * you will set it up
    * you will go to fetch the eno for your wife only to find her inside your WBBB
    * she will ask, "Are you going to buy another one for you, or are you just going to keep the eno?
    * you will buy another WBBB

    Oh my prophetic soul!
You're gonna need a bigger hammock

That's why I bought my wife one first as I knew once she fell in love with hers I was home free to order what I wanted.
