    Leighlo's uq is here

Well after many arguments with my wife, why an under quilt is a must have thing, for our family. Well the purchase of another under quilt that made it harder to justify. Also the hard road of going with down or Ix. We have some awesome venders here that help tones in the Ix realm that answered my questions. Sorry I did not go with them at this time but still talking with the wife (laughing). I got my uq in from Leigh it is very well made. I am so happy with her work and responses to my emails. I will have to plan a trip now to test it out. Here is the site if anyone wants to take a peak until I can get pictures up. http://www.leighlounderquilts.webs.com/

    what did you order

Post details about the quilt when you have a chance. Did you get a full length or 2/3's quilt? Any overstuff? Im close to pulling the trigger on one. The only thing I'm concerned about is the amount of down. It seems she uses a little less than most others, but in all the field reports I've read there hasn't been a complaint over warmth.

I had mine down to 30, with a 20* bag over me, no issues at all. If you are on the fence....allow me to push you over-get it. You will NOT be disappointed.

I got the 2/3 20 deg. one it is 48" long and 44" w 14 oz is the total weight. 12 oz is the uq +2 oz is the shock cord line locs, and stuff sack. I did not get any added stuff the wife would not go for much more money spent. It does seem to have plenty of loft though. It is 800 down. There is great sewing on it. The way it looks to me is that it was made like she would make it for her self. where the shock cord attaches it is reinforced.

The quilts are about 25% overstuffed. I think were you see the difference is that Leigh's is a 2/3 (48") and some other vendors are 3/4 (54") which would require more down. We felt the 48" length was the best for weight vs coverage ratio.

Glad you are happy with it. I have used mine down to 2* without any overstuff so I think you will be good with the standard fill.

Thank you so much. I do not mean to sound like I got it for free (laughing) I did pay for it but it is great work!
