    Since it's car camping, you can bring the kitchen sink to supplement your insulation. It's worth coming for the food alone, and there were some mighty fine adult beverages too!

    I'm going to try hard to come to this. I may be able to go overnight depending on what I can rig for insulation. If I can't come up with anything I'll come down for the day to meet new people.
    Also can someone explain to me how food works at these hangs?

    You'd be surprised what you can rig up for insulation when you are car camping.

    As for food, we usually have a pot luck on Saturday night. Bring a dish if you can; otherwise, you can bring something non-food related.
