Plenty of trails for hiking and shelters to occupy around the rivers south of Umeå. Probably not too difficult to find a shelter we can drive directly to if we want to hang but not hike. And of course, if we drive up river, those of us with alpackas can paddle down.

    Fishing license example Öreälven:

    Öre älv:
    Harr Öring 20 Maj - 31 Aug 15 Okt - 31 Dec
    Lax 19 Juni - 31 Aug Förbud 1 Sep - 14 Okt

One day 100 SEK, one week 250 SEK.

I am thinking a no Alpacka hang this time ?

We have other hangs dedicated to Alpacka.
To few got them at this moment !
And i don't feel like ferrying up 2-3 Alpackas on the plane, with all the gear

    B/C he got them now

Rawhides backyard. I like it a lot, I stayed at a nice shelter somewhere between no. 23 and 24 on the map with EXCELLENT hanging properties. You can't drive all the way, I have to scout the place to know for sure but we're looking at carrying the packs for no more than a few hundred yards.

Or we just pick a place to park, walk in, hang, and walk back out again. But I call dibs on not carrying the firewood.

I vote we do this after Oct. 15 so we can fish for greyling and trout.

Come to think of it, that one didn't have a shelter, only a fireplace.

    Yep, that young.
But I think we should leave the pans back home this time, no need to get to rich

I need to get rich since I´m planning on buying a packraft until next summer!
But I think there are easier way to get rich then panning for gold.....

Umeå seems like a nice place to go to, or actually south of Umeå.
    I´ll vote for that option!

Fishing is not so necessary for me but october is not a problem either.
At that time we don´t need any mosquito netting anyhow.
Could be a great time to tune in some wintergear.....

Then we have to hang no more that 500m from the cars, I have heard rumors about yours and Moski's gear testing
Not to talk about what I have to take
