Golf Tees as toggles - don't do this

Guess that's why it wouldn't work for me ... I like to hang in places that normally you wouldn't camp. Fun stuff but sometimes the "landing pad" wouldn't be Hawk-eye friendly! Like this shot of Camp Hobo in Linville Gorge on the side of a rocky escarpment with a fine view of the river and a nice summer breeze.

That's the LGT or Linville Gorge Trail along the river north of Sandy flats. Just off the trail a bit. Near the lower hole in the rock.

And we started down Babel Towers to join the LGT.

====> I have recently used short lengths of PVC tubing as toggles. They weigh practically nothing, are easy to put pull-cords on, and replace. the ones I used were about 3/4 inch wide, and I will be replacing them with much smaller diameter ones soon.

I also just received four aluminum ones with my whoopies, and have yet to try them, as well.
