1443 is 1.25 oz/yd... not bad when compared to sil.

House Wrap is 1.8oz/sq yd. for a 9x9 tarp, that's 9yds @.55oz it works out to 5oz lighter...

now for the big question: is it cheap?

There is a few places around that you can get some. But the price is usualy pretty good compared with other fabrics of the same weight. I think Quest outfitters sells it and im sure other kite and hobby shops will but not to sure the situation over in the USA

I have a piece that has been outside for 3 years, covering a pile of bicycle parts and an old riding mower. It is getting kind of fragile and will tear if you pull on it, but not bad for 2 MI winters.

Another piece I fashioned into a cover for the plastic yard chairs. I hate cleaning them between uses. That lasted for over 3 years before I tore it badly when I hooked it with the snow blower and wrapped about 2 foot of it up.
