    A Temporary Adjustment....

I dropped Stormcrow off at the airport for Georgia this morning. He begins his attempt at Thru-Hiking the AT, today. He'll catch Fin on the trail, as well as a few others along the way. His plan is to average 25-30 miles daily, with as few zero days as possible. He hopes to complete it in 100-105 days.

You can follow his journey here: http://stormcrowoutdoors.com/.

This thread is generally to let you know since I am once again at the helm of Hammock Gear, phone call returns will be limited (unless you'd like a very amusing phone conversation with a deaf person....). Production will not change... In fact, I hope to make improvements to the lead times. In the meantime, please shoot an email if you have concerns or questions. Thank you for your support!

I hope it works for him! From all the folks who talk about the gear you make he will have friends the length of the trail! Good lick in the meantime. You may need it more than him. ;-)

Enjoy the walk, Adam. Will follow on your blog. Holler if you need anything along about Lexington, VA - only 2 hours from me. Is Fin still using my stuff sacks?

Good luck Adam! (Im working at the Atlanta Airport right now----if I knew what flight you were on, I would stop by and say hi!)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.
