I didn't get any hammock stuff... but I did get a beast of a thread injector. And...
    Mora knife,
    Titanium pot,
    Headlamp,
And not really a backpacking thing, but a solar-powered battery that I can charge my camera/cellphone from. It'll come in handy for some bike trips I've got planned.

Now I just gotta get some fabric and make that new pack...

can you link me to the one you got? i'd possibly be interested in this, if only to save charging my phone from my house. a minute amount of energy consumed, but i'd feel like i was doing something good...

Got me a sweeeet Blackbird dl 1.1, and maaaaan is it comfy. Felt like I could not hang it to where it was uncomfortable. Quick setup and tear down... Beautiful. Here are some pics of a quick hang at the park. Anybody else like to lay the other way where feet are on the opposite side of the footbox??

    Almost forgot the pic link:

Got myself the WB Traveler, Superfly with doors and bugnet a couple of weeks back.. and then went on shopping some trekking poles, small carabiners for hanging the tarp and 12 feet long 4mm prussic cord.

Can't wait for my one night hammocking this new year's eve.
