Tim, hope all goes well with your Mum. I know that you live in WS, or thereabouts. If she's going to a Select Specialty Hospital, she's in good hands, they're great. I'll tell ya more in Hot Springs. Glad to see that you can make it. I'll look forward to seeing you there. Oh, what is the deal with "adult" beverages there? I've never stayed there, so just curious.

well it looks like am i going to have to drive my van, so i hope i will make it to hot springs! (my old van has some mechanical issues) no luck on catching a ride!

Peanuts, if you can get as far as Asheville, you can ride the rest of the way with me if you can find a place to leave your van. E-mail me (or I use Yahoo messenger) and we'll work out the specifics if you like. I'd love to have some company for the rest of the drive in. Besides, that would give me an excuse to go thru Asheville and take my time getting to Hot Springs.

If you call a couple of the outfitters in Asheville, one of them may be willing to let you leave your van there. Check with the nice folx @ Diamond Brand, they may be willing to help out. I'm on my messenger, if you want to chat.

Yeah I'll be there, but I'm still not going to be able to leave until after work which will probably put me getting into Hot Springs between 8-9 p.m.

Anybody heard what the weather is going to be like this weekend? Temps? Rain? Just need to know what to throw in my pack.

I'm gonna bring a couple of extra tarps including my big 13'x13' nylon.
