Looking forward to the new quilt... Will test out the gear throughout the fall and winter to prep for my early spring trip where the temps are cool and the fish keep biting... 38 miles into the northern wilderness by bush plane, plenty of trees...just hope I don't look like a nice bear taco...

used that setup on the AT and went to zero 3 times and -5 once. not any problems and was wearing boxers and socks

I agree. I spoke with one of the Jack's for guidance, and I ended up with a MW3 UQ. Top notch quilt and suspension. I use it on my WBBB.

nice choice i bought the mt washington 3 for my bb i like it alot i was toasty warm at 27 degrees so far.now as amazed at the quality of the quilt as i was ,the time jack took with me on the phone after i already spent my money was very much above the what i expected(thanks jack).the time he took was from the heart of a hiker not the greed of human nature,i cant say enough positive about the man.

Yep, Jack is great to do bussiness with. He has spent a lot of time between emails and phone calls helping me figure out what gear would suit my needs.

I'm lucky enough to be the proud owner of the very first MW4. I've had it down to -5 with a Hudson River and a Stealth doubled up as my top quilt while wearing hiking pants and a t-shirt. During the night I had to kick off the Stealth because I was over heating.
