You can just fold 6in on each end and tie a larks head- no thread injector required
Or you can take them to your local dry cleaners. They normally have a seamstress that hems pants. Another option is a shoe repair shop as they have a heavy duty sewing machine.
I hand sew my straps, just make the same size loop you would make with machine and start your stitch inbetween the straps to hide the excess line after the knot.
Overlap your stitch in a leapfrog maner by going up through the strap, over(follow your intended path), down both straps, 1/2 way back to the starting stitch, then up again through both straps, over(follow your intended path) leapfrog the down stitch, then down and 1/2 way back again, repeat in a double Z path and finish between the straps to hide the excess.
I hope this makes sense.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you
+1 on shoe repair shop. Will often do it will you wait. They've repaired packs for me several times. Heavy duty machines.
Larks head is guaranteed stronger than sewn. You lose about 2 inches and sacrifice 2 in weight which is like 2 grams?
i gots a thread injector dude, just hollar at me and ill sow em up!
Timber hitch around tree and marlin spike hitch for your whoopies. No loops required
