I'm already thinking about next year!
It was definitely a great time and I am already trying to work out a set list

I also talked to Dennis and he didn't say no... so that is a hopeful sign

I've started working on a couple of easy songs already and will fire off a pm when I come up with my "beginner uke-friendly songs" set list (Dennis said that the more Beatles songs in the list makes it more likely he'll come )

The FH4 may have another first... a guitar/banjo/dobro/ukulele monster jam with songs by the Beatles, Neil Young, Mason Williams, Sublime, Bob Marley, The Eagles, Paul Butterfield (if I can figure out all of the harmonica parts), and more!!

    Thanks to all!!!

Thanks to all for a great time at the hang!

This was my first hang, and now I can see why the hubby has raved about them - it was lots of fun! (And a VERY rude awakening to go back to a crazy work schedule after such a relaxing weekend!)

Thanks to all for their hard work in setting up/running such a great event - Gumbo you are amazing and have inspired me to learn to cook in a DuchOven - you make a mean fruit cobbler!

Special thanks to VanGuard for letting the "big kids" play too (paracord bracelets) (My students have seen mine on my bag and now want to know how to make them - they're even thinking about making them and using them as a fundraiser for the charities that some of their clubs support).
(It was a gift that will keep on giving!)

So great to meet new friends and make great memories! It even inspired me to join the forums!

    Looking forward to next year,

    RunnerGirl (a.k.a. Mrs. WetRivrRat)

Well, welcome to the forum then!

My wife came for the first time too and now wants to go back again. As you have seen, what goes in there simply can't be described by words, it's a feeling.

    Welcome RGakaMrsWRR to the HF.
Glad you had a good time at FH3!
You've got a year (almost) to get some of those DO recipes mastered before FH4. I'll volunteer to test them for you then. (I give and I give...)
