hello from NC!

hiya folks.

Noobage from eastern, NC here.
I ordered a cheap hammock on a whim a few weeks ago(dang it, youtube). I then purchased some whoopie slings, ridge line, a couple carabiners........I practiced hanging my rig a couple times, and lounged about in total comfort for a few hours. I have yet to spend a night out, but can't wait. I ordered an underquilt today, as soon as that sucker arrives I'm hitting the trees!

I figure I have about 18 times the price of that cheap hammock wrapped up in this venture now, go big or go home, right? and besides, I hate being cold.

I look forward to hopefully learning from you guys here.

I saw the thread for this last night and was enticed, but I can't give a definite yet, April is a busy month this year..... birthdays, anniversary, slingshot gathering(and that's just me) I know my wife has alot planned too....dog shows, dog racing, family visits,etc....... , but maybe if it all works out I could swing through.

Hi darkbyrd. I work on 17 near 210, and often find myself on the island for work........the west side is really where i would rather be though.
