So why are these dutch clips so much better than the Camp nano biners? Just curious because I am currently using the Camp nano biners, can't really go wrong at 23g a piece.

That's quite the contradiction there. First you say you have never eaten any MH meals and you never will, then you go on to say that you have tried some and the ones you tried were good

sometimes I overlook the very small things that i truly believe deserve honorable mention..
so here is a short list of 3 items that any backpack trip i take must include:
imUSA aluminum pot/mug. $3, durable, reliable.
zelph's cobalt blue beer bottle stove. $20 with windscreen and fuel bottle. a perfect match for the imUSA mug.
whoOpie slings. $15, no more buckles! yay!

and of course there are the pricier fave's like the Montbell down inner jacket and the Black Rock hat, the te-wa UQ (i like down, can you tell?)

After reading the other posts so far, and thanks to Perkolady and Darrel, I've had to totally rethink my list. I can't believe that I even forgot about my Dutch Clips. How in the world did I not think of them. I am totally dumbfounded on that one!!

In retrospect, I now will have to move my Dutch Clips to number 1, which replaces my wife. Sorry sweetie!! But hammocking business is hammocking business!! I am sure you understand

since I wont be the first sappy response, I will say...

I was fortunate enough to get to attend 4 group hangs this year and was able to meet many of the fine people we have on this forum (including all the moderators). I have never met a better group of people in any walk of life...I am a better person because of it.
