A guitar string works awesome! (smallest one, Only costs $1.00 at any music store.) folded in half, works great with 1.75mm "lash-it" as well. Just make sure to do as others have suggested, and cut 3-4 threads off, a 1/4"-1/2" back to make tapered end for easier start. I've personally never needed to tape them this way.

I use 24 gauge uninsulated wire from Radio Shack. They didn't have 22, which is what is normally recommended I think. 24 seems to work fine though.

Since Lash-it only has 6 strands, maybe cut 2 strands and see how that works for you. If you are still struggling on the bury, cut a third.

Worked great right up to the point the guitar string broke. I thought splicing amsteel was a headache, lash-it is a whole new level.

Just found this... I haven't tried it yet, but the tutorial looks good.

I use steel fishing leader wire for Lash-it and Zing-it. Works great and stronger than a guitar string.

Didn't think of that, time to check the tackle box

On the small stuff? I use it for 7/64 but haven't found it small enough for 2.2 and below.

I made some continuous loops from 2.2 zingit using florist wire with no problems, I did the locked brummel method.
