Thru Hike the AT in a hammock? Has anyone?

    Howdy folks!

I am pretty new to this hammock thing, but got to be honest. I am diving in head first. I love it. Just got my Warbonnet BB XLC in the mail with my Superfly. I've got whoopee slings (only because its fun to say).

My question is this: Who has Thru hiked the AT in their hammock? I have been lurking around and searching both the forums here and at WB for any Thru Hiking hangers, and I have yet to see any post. I am sure its been discussed but my forum search skills are amateur at best.

I guess I am wondering if it is do-able. Like most on here, I sleep so much better in a hammock. I'd like to use it for my upcoming thru hike.

Edit- After posting this, I found some post about others experiences. Moderators can delete this if they want.

Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!

i saw a video recently of someone doing the long trail in Vermont (i think it's in Vermont) and they used a hammock. I've seen tons of pics of AT thru hikers with hammocks set up, I don't know how many completed the AT though.
