Yup, those were poles you saw. My PCL finally went on me about two months ago and with two big trips coming up I though I should give them a second try. I found they did help a lot with my stability and giving me that extra little something on accents and descents. But what I liked the most was the options they gave me when it came to pitching my tarp.

Looking forward to the next time we share the trail !

I hesitate to ask, because I know it has been discussed before, but I'm curious about the Sector 7 references. Is there a link on this forum that explains it? I'm relatively new to the forum, and it just seems like more of the fun. Probably with my usual state of mind, I should be assigned "Section" (not Sector) 8! Think Uniform Code of Military Justice - Mental Discharge!
