    MRT = Manistee River Trail. Very nice trail in my opinion! You can easily pick up on the North Country Trail (NCT) from it. My vacation days are burning up quick so I'm not sure I can make this one, but if I do carpooling may be an option since you'll be passing thru. I could pick up the trip from Ft Wayne north.

    your right about the section between the little mac and the campground being ugly mark but the other 10 miles of the mrt make up for it.
