That's funny because I remember exactly what hammock was my #8.
Largely because the word "eight" was said to me in a rather loud voice. It went something like:
Eight hammocks!?! What is it you need eight hammocks to do?!
I think the question marks were implied just to be polite; there was no question there. Not one that had a right answer anyway.

Ahhh, so many hammocks ago and she still puts up with me.
It was a Claytor NoNet BTW.

Great idea! A Superfly takes 4 to 12 stakes or tie points (in addition to the 2 trees for the hammock) to pitch so, get a nice diamond tarp for fair weather, only 2 stakes. It'll save you some fuss'n

As was stated, the Superfly is probably the #1 choice of non-cuben. I love 'em.

If you order one up immediately & email Brandon, It'll probably save you a bit on shipping.

The advantage of the Superfly is that you can 'batten down the hatches' in nasty weather and it improves your camping experience a bunch. Not fun to have a small tarp with blowing rain or a heavy wind that sucks the heat away. Nice & big in Porch mode in the hot sun, too.

Why not do the Superfly or Mamajamba? The Superfly is generally considered one of the best non-cuben tarps out there... if you add it to your Warbonnet order you'd save on some shipping by doubling up.

If you want to spend more $$ and go cuben, HammockGear has some great choices.

Good choices on the hammock and tarp. Heck, while you're at it, you might as well go for The Full Monty! Hahaha.

Really though, it's all amazing gear. You'll love both to pieces.

That would have been a bit harder to get cleared by the boss. Maybe once I get her into a hammock to experience how nice it is...

Yeah, don't cross SheWhoMustBeObeyed. Usually doesn't end well. XD

I'm still working on mine. I am determined to get her out hiking and hanging with me. Just trying to figure out how to ninja two setups... lol.

Sometimes it is better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission! That's my policy anyway. Worst case scenario is that you will have one heck of a nice hanging dog house!

What's wrong with having eight hammocks? That's how many I have. I trying to catch up with Cannibal. The funny thing is that I enjoy each one of them.

Don't argue with the alligator until after you cross the river.
