yes toggles will hold. The knot is designed to support itself not the toggle.

I don't have an underquilt as of yet but if anyone has any extras I would be definately in. If anyone can help me out I would love to make it.

I will update the spreadsheet when i get home and can access google docs.

If anyone has 2 i might be able to be +1 for the weekend.

My wife has a hammock now too and after camping Oct 5-6 she is ready for a hammock camping adventure. Just not sure what to do with 3 year old.

anyone know what the weather is supposed to be like?
and maybe I can convince my dad to come and hang with us. He has tried once and was frustrated with the experience.

Like Silverpalm, I would like to attend but I still don't have an underquilt. If someone can help with insulation I will plan to come for sure. Also if the weather turns out to be warm enough (above 45) I can manage just using my pads.

I don't have an underquilt but it is car camping. I will have extra sleeping bags. I am sure we could figure a way to get one up under your hammock. If you have an extra hammock you could put a sleeping bag between the 2 hammocks. You could also put a pad inside a sleeping bag. If we were hiking in and hiking out and couldn't carry extra stuff I would be worried. Last week I heard something about knots. If you can't tie a knot, then tie a lot. So if you can't hang with the right quilt use a lot.

im with miyan we are car camping we will make it work some how dont bail on the hang we will keep everyone warm somehow

so we have Mexican Casserole+ span rice, salsa, guac, mex cornbread, corn ( or should we call it maize?) Brownies for dessert and maybe chili

We should have enough variety for dinner but propbably need more dessert( this coming from the fat guy) I will bring something for dessert as well.

Anything else? I am going to bring popcorn for the fire. I have tried this several times with my son only yo have it not work. I believe I have learned my errors and hope for success this time.
