you can probably use the stock tree huggers that comes with your HH but I would suggest changing those over as well to 1" polyester @ 6 or 8ft long.

if you've got a HH i would also look at getting the MOD2 done from 2qZq,..it makes it so nice to just sit and spin to get out rather than going through the bottom entry for cold weather camping.

You will struggle to find amsteel in the UK as its considered to be not quite as good as our stuff, according to people in the sailing world that I have spoken too.
We do have our own rope manufacturers in britain and europe you know!

Do a search for English Braids dynamic line and Marlow D12. They are the equivalent to amsteel blue-the dynamic line is even stronger than amsteel blue in 2mm width. It will cost about £1/m for the Marlow and £2/m for the dynamic line.

Try the Rope locker, Nautical rope, Cygnus sails and the big bad Bay for the best prices. I got my dynamic line for £1.70/m after shopping around.

I send a few thousand feet to Europe every month. 300 feet headed for Sweden today. Redden does not ship international for some reason, but Scott or I can help out. If someone wanted to order a full spool to then split up for folks over there I would be happy to help. It comes on either 600 foot or 1200 foot rolls, the 600 is a much smaller roll that comes in a fairly compact box and would be under $15 US to ship.

Hey shewie, think it's worth a BcUK group buy? I'd be interested in picking up some to have a go at making whoopie slings.

    Possibly mate

Although we've been hanging o there for years I think a lot of the guys like the RM style of using climbing tapes and heavy cord. Hammock technologies haven't really progressed much over there apart from the handful of us who like to tinker.

Might be worth asking and see what kind of response we get.

I'm a bit tied up with the axe raffle at the moment but I don't mind kicking something off after Chrimbo.
