    What is a saw briar? (moonshine?) You mention it several times in the write up.

    nah...I cant drink moonshine and Hike!... Saw Briar is Blackberry wiskey and a single serving pack of laura lynn lemonade...mix that together with some spring water and you my friend have experienced a saw biar lemonade!...It came about on accident years ago and kinda grew a head of its on........saw em if ya can!!!!

    Thanks for the TR - nice video from the tower on Albert Mountain. The KCT was sloppy this past summer, too.

    If you go again, check out a woman's small grave marker (flat on the ground) only a few yards from the tower.

    You are lucky to have the friends you do. It looks like it was a fine trip and one well documented at that. Nothing like cold, the AT and drink to keep the friendships strong. Thanks for sharing.

    Well, it looks like I'll have another project on my hands soon with this one. Do you have a recipe for making your blueberry whiskey or did you just make it up as you go? It makes me think that I might have to try a blackberry gin or make something special for the Linville Gorge Rats...
