For a long while I used an old sunglasses bag.

I use this gum container from Walmart. Great for the Ti Stakes, but not good for longer stakes. I use a silbag for my longer stakes.

I bought a bunch of that gum when they still were using the black screw on lids... I bought them just for the container, they work wonderful for storing things...

I have a little ditty bag that I can steal from my tent. Doesn't take up much room.

i just hang mine on the outside of my pack, with a rubber band around them so they don't klink

This is what I use when they're not 15 miles back.
Cuben stake bag from Zpacks. But mine is a white thicker cuben.
