    Claytor snake skins available

Just saw that Claytor has started selling snake skins (camo) for the Jungle and Expedition hammocks. Price is $40 and free shipping as usual.

I've been wanting snake skins since I got my Claytor.

I heard that too but was scared away by the price. Got my Hennessey Snakeskins on ebay for $12.99 and retail is around $20.00.

Do you get separate ones (Two pair) for the $40.00?
Claytor ususally gives great value in their products, can't figure this one out. Can't take as much time as their excellent tarp...

Just read description, Two sleaves but holds the hammock And the rain fly (Tarp). Guess it has to be larger than most to hold both. Still overpriced IMO.

Now if you get a "Removable inner netted liner" or pockets for stakes/guylines too it would be worth the $$$

Interestingly, they didn't ask permission to use my picture...which is a picture of JRB's Python Skins...which JRB stopped producing at Tom H's request b/c it's a patented item.

I predict these don't last long.

Hehe - that's probably the worst picture of skins on the whole internet...look at the resolution! Not much money to be made there. Just irks me that a vendor is using it to make money without even asking.

But the patent issue is more important here. It'll be interesting to see how this turns out.

Just got an email from Tom C. Looks like a simple misunderstanding...someone sent him the picture and he thought it was free for use. I'd let him use it, but it shows a JRB product so it's not really my call.

It'll be fixed in a few hours. No harm done.
