Where are you finding that grade of aluminum for those prices? I have some more experimenting I want to do as well.

Schorr Metals in Yorba Linda CA, they were recommended by the metal shop in town. They are about 4 miles from the house.

Lots of sizes to choose from. I got some 3' to telescope together for travel, but may cut it shorter.
Please let me know if it works out for you.
Thanks

If anyone wants to drop a grand on this, mcmaster-carr carries titanium tubing in 1 and .75 inch! $482 and $328 respectively. Maybe its overkill.
Alamosa,
I was just wandering how long does it take you to set-up your system? Also....inquiring minds want to know... you had stated before that you were going to make a video...
Thanks for sharing!!
It takes about 10 minutes to setup (minus the tarp). I have started a video on it. Just another item I need to get wrapped up and posted. Better get to work on those things.
