Ok thanks, and for those rings, do you have to buy them at that website, or could I go to the hardware store and buy them? Should a normal caribeiner hold it, because i always hang 3 or 4 extras on my pack, and that would be a good use for them. Do the snake skins fit with this?

Yes, as was said above, snake skins work great with the webbing. It goes around the webbing just like it does around the rope.

You can source your rings/biners/webbing wherever you like. Just make sure they're strong enough so you don't wind up on your XXX in the middle of the night!

Yep - any rings or biners would work, as long as it's the right size and strong enough. I've never found any rings in a hardware store that were cast (and not welded or open), let alone any with a strength rating.

The purpose of buying these specific pieces boils down to weight and known strength. The rings at a hardware store are going to be much heavier and probably welded. At $2.50 a piece, I'd stick to the SMC rings. I'm sure many heavy duty caribiners would work but they dont give you a strength rating. And there much heavier. There are many full strength climbing caribiners on the market but the Camp USA is about the lightest you will find.
I would stick to the tried and true.

Ok thanks. I will most likely go with this, just to save some money, and it sounds much more productive and easy. One last thing... How do I attach it to my HH?

That's up to you. You can tie a smaller piece of Spectra to your HH rope and put the rings on the Spectra. Or, you might tie a biner to your HH rope and tie some Spectra to the biner. Or, you might even try just tieing the rings directly to the HH support rope. You'll have to experiment and see what you like best. Just don't cut the HH rope length until you decide for sure the method you want to use.

Ok, so you dont just cut off the rope and sew the Spectra to the hammock. Which method do you think is easier?

Like I said above, I just tied my Spectra to the HH rope. I can't imagine anything simpler than that. There are a number of knots for doing this *knots are an entirely different discussion*.

That sounds like the way to go. I'm sure a knot guru will chime in here soon.

Ok thanks! What do you do with all the slack rope? And I just looked at the spectra, and is there any way that I can find it cheaper?
