My order is in and didn't order a tarp until I try it. I understand why the tarp is the way it is.

I hope there are plans to come up with a lighter weight alternative(either cuben and/or reshaped).

I love my BD cork contours but they might have to get replaced when hiking with this badboy. Can't wait to figure that out. I also can't help to think that the spreader bars could be used as a frame for the pack....hummm.

I've been waiting forever for this hammock and I can't wait to get my hands on it;->

I think your suspension on the RR is great. I am finding more and more that whoopie slings are a pain in the rear. Take a 13' bridge, not add 8" for locked brummel then 10" for the bury and you got 36" added to your minimum hang distance. So even with your whoopie right up against the tree and as short as it will go your still looking at 16' minimum distance.

I ordered Tuesday morning and I just received a shipment notification. My first order with Warbonnet so I didn't realize they took so long to ship, but when I poked around the website it does say they ship within a week, so I guess no complaints.

Can't help comparing to JRB though; if I had ordered from them on Tuesday morning the package would have been at my door yesterday.

Perhaps, but that's another topic entirely and not relevant to this "Intro" thread.

I purchased within a few minutes of the announcement - got my shipping notice. Seeing as how Brandon lives about an hour's drive from me, I've got my fingers crossed that it might get here tomorrow.

As soon as I got the email on Monday about the bridge being ready to order I placed my order. I am sure it will ship today and I can't wait to test it out.
It's been a long wait so a few more days won't kill me..

I just got the tracking on the Ridgerunner and Cloudburst....
    Happy, happy, day......
