Thanks Bomber. I hope we will see each other over Christmas. Concerning the "hip Hammockgear club” give it time and eventually you will also be in it.

Add me to the list! Summer Burrow and Incubator. (I know, I know it's winter)

Got home yesterday to a failed delivery notice. Went to the postal outlet today to pick up the box, from Jenny Hurst. Suspiciously light. I asked the clerk, "Are you sure there aren't TWO boxes?" "No, just the one."

Check the shipping / customs notice. "Sleeping Bag 3lbs" I just about laughed out loud. There was no way it was 3 lbs--maybe half that. "Value $35 USD" Another laugh and a grateful thank you for having saved me a lot of customs hassle.

Ran home and opened it up. 2 beautiful summer quilts, top and under. Well crafted. Beautiful colours: black for the Burrow topquilt so you can't see me inside the hammock, greenish grey for the Incubator underquilt to blend in with the grey-green Warbonnet Blackbird. Well it's about minus -10 * Celsius (+14* Fahrenheit ? ) and windy and snowing heavily right now, so I couldn't try them out on the hammock, but I did manage a snuggle under the burrow on my bed. Toasty.

Surprising thing is that there is no label or logo anywhere on them. Shows you that these guys just care about making a decent product, not plastering a logo over everything.

I can't wait for spring. (I'm not a winter camper...if I were outside camping in the snow, when would i have time to pore over topographical maps and plan next summer's trips and explorations?) Thank you Hammock Gear!

What? you mean there is not one of these microscopic speakers embedded in their little logo that caws when you unpack it like those singing hallmark cards?
