    Superfly tarp

I have the exact same rig. I really like using my skins for the tarp, they really help me manage such a big tarp during setup and tear down. There are several threads on HF using shock cord to rig the tie outs. I use "S" biner and a prussiac loop as a ridge line. I used some existing line I already owned and look forward to upgrading to Zing-it. Next for you is the top quilt and bottom quilt!

Enjoy hanging in the backyard...my neighbors already think I am crazy!

Congrats Edenseeker, I received my BB this time last week and started my journey of hammocking discovery. My son was an immediate convert and it looks like he's a DIYer in the making. Muhahaha! My wife gave her approval as well.

    about the neighbors

thanks for the tips, definitely see where skins on the tarp would be handy. And I have some s biners and dyneema ready to go, just have not rigged it yet.

Update on the Cold night, apparently I fell asleep within 2 min. because i remember thinking how cool it was to see the stars and i was out!! Woke up a few times, once when my dog was checking on me, once when i was cool , but at that point i had not zipped my mummy bag all the way, and finally at about the time the temp does that crazy drop early when the dew point lines up just right, but I saw light and it was the family arising, so i just got on up. Overall, very nice. I have some tweaking to do on the pad, may even need another one to cover the added width of footbox, but at least i know i can survive down to 37 degrees with no underquilt, If you get off the pad you know it pretty quick though I look forward to tweaking my setup, thanks for all the advice.
