    Video please

I would like to see a video of how the hug performs. Ease of getting in and out and how it lays with someone in the hammock.

I am trying to decide if I should go this route or try an integrated bug net for my ENO dn.

Great idea! I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, but a video is a great idea. I have one of Paul's versions that I can work with.

Most recently, I used the HUG on the Appalachian Trail this May during Trail Days. It worked great at keeping the bugs at bay. No bites.

Getting in and out is where the HUG really performs. In fact, this is why I designed it in the first place as all the other designs have zippers, flaps, or draw strings that slow you down. With the HUG, just get out of the hammock

Gotta love the no fiddle factor. I think I'm going to get my hands on one of these and use it fourth of July weekend. I will be getting in and out of my hammock a lot and it will be fun to try something new.

I used one this weekend to great effect. A great weight to effect ratio at only ~2.18 ounces.

Did you do yours out of tulle SGT Rock? Also what did you use for the reinforcement patch in the center? Mine out of noseeum was closer to 6 oz.

Thanks SGT. After a weekend trip with massive mosquito troubles, and me having left my original HUG at home I am going to make one with the nanoseeum and keep it in my bag at all times! While I managed not to get bit the little buggers were pesty.

Anyone have problems with bugs flying up from underneath the net? On my trip it seemed like they would fly under the loose hanging parts and work their way up as I moved around. I didnt have an underquilt to tuck the loose ends into, but would be curious if there are options without one or with a pad.

Having mosquitos stuck inside with you in the middle of the night can drive you NUTS

Permethrin would keep the mosquitoes from touching the net, you could always use some small binder clips to tighten it up...
