Oh really, wolves howling at the moon in the Stockholm archipelago? Yeah, I don't think so, Grizz.

Nice trip though, I can't wait for the Alpacka Adventure.

Enjoyed the trip Grizz, even though it was by way of your video. Interesting way the rafts were inflated. Thank you Grizz and Moski.

Sort of like the Instaflator Shug recommends.

Holy crap. Well, I guess I'm talking out of my rear end. Us northeners are used to thinking the most lethal things south of Gävle are ticks.

    Nice trip report.
Smokehouse had one of the rafts at the Ozark Hang in March. Looks like a great boat for that type of adventure.

Very, very cool of Moski to set up this adventure.
I normally use the video editor "Final Cut Express", a Mac product.
I had a lot of time to kill on the flight home, FCE was not on my computer, but iMovie was. Never having used iMovie I tinkered around with it and discovered templates for movie trailers. So all I had to do was fill in some text boxes and drag clips to particular places and viola! Instant movie trailer.
I naively thought that Apple would have put royalty free sound-tracks on, silly me. That's why an advert annoying pops up just as soon as the video starts.

And yes, it was very very cool of Moski to set this up!

Love the theatrical beginning and the "Waltz of the Alpacka".
As I was reviewing the footage and noticed that so much of the water time was just us floating and spinning (because my hands were on the camera, not the paddle), the Blue Danube Waltz and 2001 A Space Odyessy came to mind. I searched and searched and searched for a royalty free copy of that piece because I didn't want to get dinged by youtube----which I did anyway because of the trailer. The piece I found is royalty free, and was done in the 50's I think by a Finnish Orchestra. Fitting somehow.

On the second day I had the camera mounted by a tripod up on my pack and so could shoot footage when we were actually paddling

I just thought our yacht-dwelling neighbors were werewolves or something.

Thanks! It was fitting though, because the area where we landed was covered in dried cow pies, and there was a pasture immediately next to us.
I did think it a fitting counter-point to the wolves track for the previous night.

I had a lot of fun filling out the roles that got pasted into that credits page!
The concatenation of "star" names into something that looked like just one name was an accident of the names being singletons.

    glad you all enjoyed it!
