    Expedition Love.

    Last weekend:

    Camping at 5000 feet, North Carolina Appalachians. Freezing temps, mix of rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow. High winds. Thermarest Prolite full length, simple Treehugger tarp, Western Mountaineering HighLite with a down jacket over the top across core/ down to knees. Silkweight tights, midweight top, capilene hat and gloves.

    Equals= totally toasty and comfy night's dry sleep.

    Wouldn't get that in most tents, IME.
