If you overlap the Winter and the 3 season you wouldn't need to connect them with snaps. I'm guessing they'd seal up fine and not let any cold drafts in. Brandon or anyone that has a winter and a 3 season want to try this and post a picture for us?

    Can someone post a pic?
What are they for Brandon ?
As far as I know teh snaps are to add a liner to beef up the insulation. Here is the thread

I have 2 3 season yeti's, i tried them side by side, but the uq suspension lines were digging in and quite uncomfortable on the left side. I tired them on top of each other, then one in front one in back, nothing would work, only one was comfortable.

Could you elaborate on this a bit more? I'm not understanding what you are saying. The UQ suspension lines run above you so I'm not sure how they would dig into you if you are laying in the hammock.

and if you are using them 'side by side' which i mean the end of one touching the end of another--so really they are abutting lengthwise......in this setup run shock cord loop through the sides of both of them and then the the gathered end balls of fabric.
IF you have the Winter Yeti and the 3 season Yeti think of the combinations and temperature ranges at your command......yes in dual mode it will be longer than most professional basketball players would need but it would be very difficult to find a cold spot!

I have a right footbox yeti (standard), wheni run 2 2 season yetis connecting lengthwise downthe hammock, i get the tension line uncomfortably closing in over my head. i sleep on my left side, so i feel it near my face when im layin on my side. The cord is obviously above my head though, the force of the two cords pulling up is simply not comfortable. I am not doing anything wrong as far as i know, i have both over the footbox. I have a no sniveller anyway, its more comfy than two of those.

Just curious, when u guys setup two yetis longways (covering as much of the hammock lengwise as possible), do you put the side with the white pearl snap closest to the head end on BOTH or just the first one.

Try stringing them on just ONE shock-cord for winter...... I do and it just requires undoing the ones on them and when the season warms ..... put them both back on separate shock-cords.

Shug- Did you use velcro or anything to keep your UQ's together at the joining point? I thought I read that on the forum somewhere. If you did use velcro. How is it working/ holding up?
