this past Feb I was in N.GA mntns and it went down to 31 degrees. No winds

I used a 3season yeti & 3season burrow w/ superfly tarp. Tarp wasn't pitched low -- I wanted to see the creek I was sleeping next to.

Was wearing BDU pants, regular short socks , tshirt w/ hoodie. Used my down jacket for pillow & a fleece hat. Forgot a pad for my feet but the burrow did its job. I stayed nice & toasty!

However, if I need to add heat to the above setup - I have these pieces to add...

The hammock socks adds warmth in the cold & I used it as my only UQ this past summer when it was above 70degrees

The rain poncho I have not had the opportunity to use but when testing in an unheated garage at about 50 degrees - it got hot!

seeing you have a WBBB -- if you are a DIY person here's a simple top cover to make - which would prob be lighter than a poncho (poncho has dual purpose)

    Good luck!

Shadow, I believe that's the poncho on the left, although it looks huge and almost like a tarp?

I'm not sure what I'm seeing in the second picture. It appears to be just an UQ, but perhaps this is wrapped in something (the sock)? Can you elaborate?

    Thanks

Correct on the poncho. it is larger than normal. it's this one - http://shop.vtarmynavy.com/acu-poncho-p3549.aspx

In the 2nd pic the green material is a DIY hammock sock. I have a 3 season yeti under the hammock sock.

Got it, thanks. I also like the idea of the AHE Burrito. Appreciate all of the inputs.
