    Smile average dangerbird?

Im thinking about pulling the trigger on a db, i know it will be different for all hammocks but im just curious on some average weight of some rigs.

Im leaning towards the 1.0 ripstop or 1.8 tafetta single layer 10 ft ridge line.

    Thanks for the help!

Randy (DreamHammock owner behind the scenes) recently added a calculator to his site. He doesn't claim it's perfect, but it should get you to a very close estimate:
    http://www.dream-hammock.com/HammockCalculator.html

I plugged in your numbers and came up with the following (assuming a 60 in width):
    1.0 ripstop: 23 oz
    1.8 tafetta: 28 oz

I have a 1.8 night grid tafetta on order right now and can't wait until it gets here!

Sure thing. Yah, that calculator is pretty hidden. He'd be well-served linking to it from the order page.

Good luck on a future purchase! You definitely won't be disappointed.

yooz85, you're not alone. I've had others that have had trouble finding this info.
I guess I've looked at the site so much I can no longer see it with "new eyes".

Good suggestion. I'll see what I can do to bring it more out in the open.

Was just browsing the site and noticed the new links to the calculator from the product order pages. Very nice! That'll definitely be very helpful for folks using the site moving forward.

Should be here Wednesday. Very excited! I'm usually not a fan of most camo patterns, but that Night Grid is pretty cool looking.
