If you do not have a reasonable tent, which is my situation, you can cut in between the two lines of stitching. That will effectively seal the baffles on both sides. The down side to that is you have a harder time making the rolled hem and sooner or later you will have to bust open the baffle to harvest that down if you need just a tad bit of down. So then you still have to find a way to harvest it without making it look like a pillow fight took place in the dining room or guest room. The non-campers in the house tend to dislike the feathers that hit the fan. So you are back outside, in the tent with the vacuum one way or the other. Either that or in the doghouse. Or if you are lucky... banished to the hammock in the back yard where you get to try out your newly acquired gear. If given a choice... go for the hammock.
