This sounds great. I plan on taking my wife along with me to the hang. I've never been to a hang with the group. I'm excited to meet the fellow hangers around Ohio.

This trip also gave me a great excuse to buy a new hammock (Claytor JH) The wife will get my ENO DN rig and I'll get to try the new set up.

Are there any dayhikes available in the area?

It'll be nice to meet you and your wife. These are good family hangs and there are plenty of areas to day hike.

I can not wait till this hang!!! Boy do I need to get out, and away, and relax, and meet some of you I haven't gotten to yet, and just swing from the trees, and smell a camp fire, and....well, I guess I'm just saying that I can't wait!

Bummed about missing out yet again. If anyone can, I will be arriving on Sunday afternoon, Probably around 5 pm hopefully/tentatively (maybe later, maybe earlier, will know in a couple of days.) Since the hang will be nearing it's end I proffer the idea of extending it until Tuesday (big papi this means you.) since most will have departed by Sunday afternoon, I will make my way to site #3 accessed by the bridal staging area via a short yet relatively steep hike into the valley. there is a stream crossing involved, but the spot is awesome and includes a rather righteous stone table. The salamanders ought to be in bloom as well. Interested parties can pm me to exchange info with regards to meeting up for the hike in. Yeah, man!
