    smallest packed up hammock

What is the most compact and lightweight hammock that includes an attached mosquito net. I am looking for something that I can keep in my daybag at all times for quick deployment when the opportunity presents itself or for emergency use.

I don't know if it's the smallest, but my HH ultralite Backpacker A-sym packs up smaller than a football (the stuff sack it comes in is 9" by 12" when flat), and it's only 2 pounds, complete.

A Hennessy Hyperlite is about half-again smaller.

I suggest looking into the Moskito Traveller Hammock from Byers of Maine. It weighs a pound, is $40, and packs to about 8x6x4.

Yea, the bayer is tiny. Likely the smallest packing one I have had.

Are you planning on carrying a tarp?? (I think) A 8' x 5' sil nylon "should" do & they pack very small also.

AND: with any hammock you will need a suspension system of some sort. Which also takes up space. My straps will fit in a soft ball box, with room to spare.
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.

I'm looking for an extra cheap Moskito Traveller, too. If anybody has one they're looking to get rid of, please let me know. Thanks!
