Low price is something I'm still looking for, but Quest Outfitters has a wide variety of sizes and fittings.

Heck, I can buy a new tent with 2-3 12' poles for $30...

    Craigslist? Buy an old tent...

Olddog keeps updating a list of other people who have built TurtleDog stands - who's gonna be the first person to build a MustardDog stand and let me start my own list?

After contacting an ebay seller directly, he sold me 16 poles for $54.99 shipped. The poles worked great for me and he would pass on this deal to other people as well. If you would like a bag with it it would be $5 more.

Their ebay name is little_apple_liquidation and their email is [email protected]

I just want to make it clear that I am not connected anyway with this seller, just passing on a deal.

    This is COOL!

Is installing the snaps pretty self explanatory once you have the holes drilled? I can't visualize how they attach...

They are just a V shaped spring with the "button" on one end. Slide them into the tube until the button pops through the hole.

So I'm assuming a custom tarp has been made by now?

Gotcha. That's why the correct size for the inner diameter of the pole is important.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, life has been pretty crazy so I haven't had much time to work on camping gear... or go camping, for that matter.
