I found one seller (onrope1) but they couldn't tell me how much shipping was to the UK.

Here is the link to the pictured cinch buckle
    http://www.onrope1.com/store/index.p...d=118&parent=4

Or you can get these from Paul at AHE:
    http://arrowheadequipment.webs.com/a...s/show/1340611

I have both sets and I like the ones from AHE because they are lighter in weight and come with the attachment cordage. Plus they help out one of the cottage businesses who is a member here on the forum as well.

Nawh I wouldn't buy any from Paul ... just another American Capitalist!

OK sure ... he makes excellent product and really good customer service ... and yeah I've got two sets of these buckles and love them ... but you just have to make as stand sometimes!

All joking aside you need to hold these buckles to appreciate how strong and light they are. The buckles you mentioned in the original post are good but very heavy. I've got several sets of these myself.

    That'll work just fine!

EDIT: YES ...that is if you mean Larkshead to the hammock ... if you mean Larkshead to the plates ... like Paul says below ... nope.

I asked Brandon that and was told no. They need to be looped thru just like in the picture. Otherwise adjustments are really tough.

No you can't larks head them, they need to be able to slide freely so the loop needs to be through the eye of the plates rather than around them. Not only will adjusting them be harder but they may not grab the webbing fully and may slip. Results may very but my experience is that it makes it very hard to do anything with the webbing once the larks headed loop has been weighted.

This is how I've put the chain link on my BB. It's just a short 12" one which I then clip onto a carabiner.

With a fixed loop like a chain link coming from my BB, how do I attach to the buckles without breaking the loop ?
