Thanks mate Yep, thats the rub. Typical. The market was intersting but I honestly preferred my time in the woods. Some loved it, some thought it a little too commercialised. The video talks there and speaking to Sami herders were probably the best bits about it. Oh, and the smoked Reindeer meat. Oh my word, that stuff is tasty. Keep in touch, I may be back next year-if so, It will be on Norwegian to Harstad!

Thanks Ramjet Its like a security blanket now, nothing it seemingly can't do incredibly well apart from being packable or lightweight.

Cheers Bubba Par for the course I suppose, SD cards have rep for failing in the cold. A heated case for the next cold trip is needed! It spent all its time inside my layers but still got frozen.

Thanks for sharing! Love the pictures and trip report!
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

WOW! - Great adventure. Thanks for sharing. The pics were great. It's too bad you lost some. I'm not surprised at battery troubles but am at SD card problems in those temps.

Absolutely epic trip. Enjoyed all the photos. Riam's anorak looks like a modified Swedish military, is that correct. I will read and re-read this post many times. Thank you............
